Description

Same as EU and UK (Confluence OPS › Backups): RDS snapshot plus a logical dump at 01:00 local time, to acme-backups-us, encrypted under the US region's own KMS key, kept 35 days. Cross-region replication off and refused by the account policy.

The first restore drill comes once the region has a real client: Mira's January slot.

Nightly backups running for staging, US bucket only. A replication attempt to the EU is refused by the policy, as it should be.
