Phone number with spaces is refused silently and the page says 'Saved'

Description

Greenhollow (SUP-1215): changing a worker's number to +353 86 123 4567 says "Saved" and keeps the old number. Without spaces it saves.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Person page, edit the mobile number, type it with spaces.
  2. Save.

Expected: saved, or a reason why not. Actual: "Saved", old number kept.

The API refuses the spaces with a 422, and the person page shows "Saved" for any answer.

Spaces are stripped before saving, and a refused number now shows the reason.
