Elif, Outlook shows 'via mailcrest' on our notices for Almwerk. Can we align the sending domain?

Elif Yildiz · 17 Jul 2026, 13:40 UTCInternal note

Return-path is Mailcrest's default domain, so Outlook shows 'via'. Setting a custom return-path on acme-hq.example (DNS + Mailcrest config). Next week.

Hi Lisa, Outlook shows "via" because our mail provider sends on our behalf with its own address in the background. We're changing that so the emails come from our own domain all the way through. Next week.

Elif Yildiz · 22 Jul 2026, 13:30 UTCInternal note

Custom return-path live. Test to an Outlook mailbox shows no 'via'.

Ines Costa · 22 Jul 2026, 14:00 UTC

Hi Lisa, changed today: Outlook no longer shows the "via" line on our emails. Closing.
