Description

Our cold store staff at Mitchelstown often don't get signal until they walk out to the yard, and by then the code has run out. Can codes last longer than 10 minutes?

Hi Aoife, a code lasts 10 minutes and that can't be changed per customer. It's on purpose: a code that lives longer is easier to misuse if a phone is left in a locker.

What helps: ask for the code at the door rather than inside the cold store. A person can ask for a fresh code after a minute (up to five an hour). If the site has staff Wi-Fi, phones with Wi-Fi calling switched on receive texts over it too.

Fair enough. We'll put a sign up at the door.
