Description

Urgent: we dismissed a worker at Mallow this morning. I deactivated the account. Is the person signed out everywhere now?

Hi Aoife, deactivating stops any new sign-in at once and ends all their access. A session already open in a browser runs to the end of your session length, though (eight hours unless your administrators set another), so I've ended that person's open sessions from our side just now. Nothing is left signed in.

Thank you. Should I have done something else?

Yusuf Demir · 28 Aug 2026, 08:00 UTC

No, deactivating was right. For a dismissal, ask us to end open sessions too, as you did; administrators can't do that themselves yet. I've passed that on.

Yusuf Demir · 28 Aug 2026, 08:02 UTCInternal note

Deactivating doesn't end live sessions, and admins can't end them. Feedback for Mira and Noor.
