Description

Hello,

a question from our Rotterdam depot before go-live. Rotterdam takes agency drivers for single shifts, often booked the evening before. Ruth, the depot manager, wants to approve a driver's access for that shift only, so it ends when the shift ends and nobody has to remember to take it away. In our organisation an approval stays until someone removes it.

Is there a way to do this? We need to know by Friday 16 October so we can plan go-live staffing at Rotterdam.

Kind regards, Sanne Bech Operations Director, Kelderby

Renamed and assigned to Ana (Kelderby). Feature ask: an approval has no end date today. They want an answer by 16 October.

Lena decided this morning (ACM-333): access for one shift gets a plan of its own, with us and Kelderby; deputies while a manager is away come first. Kelderby's question is ACM-306.

Hi Sanne, thanks for the detail from Rotterdam. Today an approved request gives access until an administrator or the depot manager takes it away; an approval can't have an end date yet. For go-live, Ruth can remove an agency driver's access after the shift from the driver's page in the portal.

We want to build access that ends with the shift, and build it with you. Could you and Ruth spare 45 minutes next week to walk us through how Rotterdam books agency drivers?

Sanne Bech · 16 Oct 2026, 07:12 UTC

Thank you Ana. Removing by hand is OK for the first weeks; Ruth has 6 to 10 agency drivers a night. Thursday 22 October at 14:00 works for both of us.

Started the initiative in Emargen today: one-shift access for agency drivers, from ACM-306. Call with Sanne and Ruth on Thursday.

Call notes: Rotterdam books drivers through two agencies; shifts 06–14, 14–22 and 22–06; drivers often do two shifts back to back. Ruth wants to set the end when approving, defaulting to the end of the shift, with access ending 30 minutes after it. All into the initiative.

Thanks both for today. We're shaping it now and will share the plan with you before we build it. Until then, removing access by hand after the shift is the way.
