Description

Hello Tom,

thanks for the call. As promised, our questions in writing:

  1. We have one Entra ID tenant and 25 depots in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. How is single sign-on set up for that?
  2. Where is our data hosted, and the backups?
  3. How long does it take to move 25 depots to single sign-on?

Best regards Henrik Lund IT, Kelderby

Hi Henrik, thanks for writing them down.

  1. Set-up. Each depot is set up on its own: one enterprise application per depot in your Entra ID tenant, because each depot has its own certificate and sign-in address on our side. We send you the details for each depot; you send back each application's metadata. Roles come from your Entra ID groups at every sign-in.
  2. Hosting. Your organisation would sit in our EU region, in Frankfurt. Data and backups stay in that region.
  3. Time. Depots switch one at a time, after a test sign-in from each. We switch on Saturday mornings. Customers usually do four or five depots a weekend: a UK customer moved nine depots over two weekends in March with no downtime.

25 applications is a lot of clicking, but OK. Thanks.

Understood. I'll put the details in the proposal. Closing this one.
