Description

I'm explaining the new sign-in at the toolbox talk on Wednesday. What exactly will people see? Do they need an app?

Hi Ciarán, no app needed, any phone that gets text messages works. What people see:

  1. On the sign-in page they choose Sign in with a code and enter their mobile number.
  2. A text message arrives with a six-digit code.
  3. They enter the code and they're in.

The code works once, for 10 minutes. If it doesn't arrive, they ask for a new one, which replaces the old.

Ciarán, I've put the same steps on a one-page sheet for the canteen wall. Sending it by email.

Perfect, thanks both.
