Description

Since last week the 'access request waiting' emails go to junk for most of us at Hull. Nothing changed on our side as far as I know.

Hi Priya, could you forward one of the emails as an attachment (.eml), so we can see the headers your mail system added?

Priya Nair · 20 Aug 2024, 11:02 UTC

Attached.

Ines Costa · 20 Aug 2024, 13:30 UTCInternal note

SPF and DKIM pass on our side (Mailcrest). Their gateway added a spam score for 'new sender in tenant' after they turned on a new policy on the 12th. Not us.

Ines Costa · 20 Aug 2024, 13:41 UTC

Thanks. Our emails pass SPF and DKIM, so they're signed correctly. Your mail gateway marked them because of a policy that treats senders as new; the header shows it was switched on on 12 August.

If your mail team adds notices@acme-hq.example as an allowed sender, they'll go to the inbox again.

Priya Nair · 22 Aug 2024, 08:51 UTC

Our mail team added it yesterday, inbox again. Thanks.

Good to hear. Closing.
