In short
Logistics, North West England. 12 sites, about 1,400 people. Customer since 2022. Region: UK (London). Office staff sign in with passwords; site workers with phone codes since June 2026 (SUP-940). Northgate's compliance team audits who can open what every quarter, and most of what Northgate asks us comes from that audit.

What Northgate asked, and where it went
| When | Ask | Where it went |
|---|---|---|
| March 2026 | Site managers approve their own staff (SUP-702) | ACM-231, ACM-247. Live 1 October; Northgate set its 12 site managers as approvers on 8 October. |
| June 2026 | Phone codes for site workers without email (SUP-940) | Moved 900 site workers to phone codes, 15 June to 19 June. |
| June 2026 | A reason on every access request, for the audit | "Reason required on access requests", live 29 July. |
| June 2026 | Access report per site | Access report by depot, live 8 July. PDF only. |
| 10 Oct | Team managers export their own team's access, as a spreadsheet (SUP-1240) | ACM-281, then ACM-290: published 23 October, waiting for Lena's approval. |
The quarterly audit
Northgate's template asks, for each person, what they can open and which role gives it. It never asks for sign-in times. See Northgate's audit template.
Today an administrator exports everyone's access as a PDF from the Access report, one site at a time if they like. Team managers then retype their team's rows into Northgate's spreadsheet. In September that took the team managers most of two days.
What to tell Northgate today
- Administrators can export the whole organisation, or one site, as a PDF.
- A spreadsheet, and an export a team manager runs for their own team, don't exist yet. ACM-290 is the plan for both; it waits for approval. Don't promise it for 4 December until it is approved and has a delivery date.
- Ben's idea of an audit pack for Northgate (started 22 October) waits on ACM-290.
