Plan
- Site: Mitchelstown, 80 workers without a company email.
- Tue 26 May to Fri 5 Jun.
- Aoife's site lead adds each worker's mobile number in the portal and sets their sign-in to phone code.
- Success: most workers sign in on their own, without the site lead, by the end of the second week.
Results
| Workers set up | 80 |
| Signed in with a code at least once by 5 Jun | 74 |
| Median time from asking for a code to signed in | 25 seconds |
| Support tickets | 2 |
What went wrong
- Codes not arriving (SUP-891). Two workers' numbers had been typed as
087…without the country code. Textbridge couldn't deliver them. The portal now refuses a number that isn't in international format (+353…). - One phone, two workers. A married couple shared a phone. One number belongs to one person, so the second worker uses a password for now.
- Signal at the milking parlour is poor. Codes stay valid for 10 minutes, which was enough.
Decision
Aoife rolled phone codes out to all six sites by 12 June.
