release-noteschangelog

What changed for customers, newest first. Leo Fontaine writes these; Emargen's Release notes flow drafts them from closed work every other Friday. Earlier entries were copied from the old changelog when this page started.

27 October 2026: choose a region at onboarding

Onboarding now asks which region a new customer's data is kept in, with nothing chosen, and won't finish until someone picks one. Customers' administrators see their region on Organisation settings. (ACM-296)

22 October 2026: waiting requests follow their depot's approver

When a depot's approver changes role, the requests waiting on them go to whoever approves for the depot now, or to administrators when nobody does. Each moved request shows where it came from, and the new approver gets one email. (ACM-320)

16 October 2026: notices for EU customers sent from the EU

Email to EU customers' people now goes through our mail provider's EU region. Nothing to do; the sender stays the same.

1 October 2026: depot managers approve their own people

The approver role can be held for one depot. Requests go to the approver at the person's home depot; administrators keep All requests. (ACM-247)

25 September 2026: depot import

Load depots from a file, with a dry run. On request; Vossberg first.

22 September 2026: merge duplicate people

Administrators can merge two records of the same person. Requests, roles and history move to the record kept.

10 September 2026: sign-in lockout and rate limits

Accounts lock for 15 minutes after repeated failed sign-ins; administrators can unlock them and are told in the portal.

24 August 2026: data export

Administrators can export everything we hold for their organisation.

18 August 2026: upload SAML metadata

Your IT can upload each depot's identity provider metadata in the portal. Certificate expiry warnings now say where to upload the new file.

13 August 2026: approvals audit log

Every decision kept for 400 days, with who and when; decisions from before today are in it too, brought in from each request's history. Export it, or take a daily file.

7 August 2026: accessibility

The portal meets WCAG 2.1 AA: keyboard, contrast, screen readers.

4 August 2026: notices in the portal

A bell in the portal for requests and decisions, with read and unread.

30 July 2026: request bundles

Ask for a set of access in one go, such as forklift and yard gate.

29 July 2026: a reason on every request

People say why they need access. Approvers and auditors see it.

22 July 2026: reminders for approvers

A reminder after 24 hours, then daily, until the request is decided.

16 July 2026: people import

Import people from a spreadsheet, with a dry run and an error file.

10 July 2026: a faster portal

The portal's first load went from 4.1 to 1.3 seconds.

8 July 2026: Access report by depot

Filter the Access report by depot and export that depot as a PDF.
