Description

We heard you now have a UK region. Our legal team would like our data in the UK rather than Frankfurt. Is that possible, and what does it mean for the depots?

Hi Priya,

Yes. A region is normally chosen once, when an organisation is set up, so moving one is done by our operations team rather than in the portal. What it means for you:

Would a Saturday night in late February or early March work?

Priya Nair · 6 Feb 2025, 09:12 UTC

Saturday 1 March, after 22:00, please.

Marek Nowak · 27 Feb 2025, 15:00 UTCInternal note

Move plan for client 1003 ready: dump/restore to uk-south, switch DNS for the client's sign-in addresses, verify, delete eu copy after 7 days.

Marek Nowak · 1 Mar 2025, 23:40 UTCInternal note

Moved. 52 min sign-in downtime. Checks green.

Ines Costa · 3 Mar 2025, 08:45 UTC

Hi Priya, Brakeline's data is in London since Saturday night, 23:40. Sign-in was down for 52 minutes. The copy in Frankfurt is deleted on 8 March. Closing.
