Description

Hi Ben,

we're bidding for an NHS cold-storage contract. The tender says: "The supplier shall confirm that all software used by its staff in delivering the service meets WCAG 2.1 level AA, and provide an accessibility conformance report for each system." Our answers are due 14 August. Does your portal meet it?

Hi Tom, thanks for the early warning. I don't want to guess: I'll come back to you by 15 July with what we can confirm and when.

Ben Carter · 1 Jul 2026, 12:10 UTCInternal note

Marlow's NHS tender wants WCAG 2.1 AA plus a conformance report, answers due 14 Aug. We've never checked. Sofie?

Hi Tom, an audit of the portal against WCAG 2.1 AA is under way, with the fixes after it. You'll have our accessibility statement by 7 August, a week before your deadline; anything not fixed by then is listed in it with a date.

That works for us.

Hi Tom, the accessibility statement is attached: 45 of the 47 issues the audit found are fixed; the printed PDF and one chart are listed with dates. Good luck with the bid. Closing.
