Portal accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA)
Description
Shaped in Emargen: Portal accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA).
Why
Marlow Cold Chain's NHS tender asks for WCAG 2.1 AA and an accessibility conformance report for every system their staff use (SUP-996); public tenders ask the same. We've never checked. Depot staff include people who use screen magnifiers and keyboards only (SUP-1019).
What we build
- An audit of the portal against WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Fixes: keyboard, contrast, screen-reader names, focus.
- An accessibility statement for procurement.
Done when
The audit's issues are fixed, or listed in the statement with a date. Target 7 August.

45 of 47 fixed; the two left (the printed PDF, the chart on the audit page) are in the statement. Closing.
Audit done (automated checks, then a keyboard-only and screen-reader walk with Hanna): 47 issues, 19 keyboard, 11 contrast, 14 names and labels, 3 other. The decision dialog is the worst. Stories under this epic.
