When a customer leaves:
- Agree the contract end date and who receives the export.
- Run the data export (Data export for leaving customers, since August 2026).
- Access ends on the contract end date. Data is deleted 30 days later; backups age out within 35 days after that.
- Write the exit notes while people still remember.
