Northgate: bell still shows 9 unread after reading them
Description
The bell says 9 unread. I've opened all of them, in another tab. It still says 9 after refreshing.

Aiko, read state from tab A not reflected in tab B after reload. Count seems cached. ENG-1609.

Unread count cached in the browser for 24 h and never invalidated on read. Fix in today's branch; out with Friday's release.

Checked on staging and production after the release: count updates in both tabs within a few seconds.

Hi Rachel, fixed in today's release: the count clears in every tab once a notice is read. Closing.
Hi Rachel, thanks, I can reproduce it: reading notices in one tab doesn't update the count in the other tab, even after a refresh. Passing it to engineering.
