Description

Our Q2 audit found that most access requests have no reason written. From Q3 the auditors want a reason on every request. Can the reason field be made required?

Hi Rachel, today the reason is optional for everyone. I've asked product whether it can be required.

Reasonable and small. I'll take 'Reason required on access requests' in early July, after the report work. Required for everyone, not a per-customer setting.

Product will pick it up in early July. It would apply to every customer, which I think suits you. I'll update here.

Started today (ENG-1540).

Live today: every new request needs a reason before it can be sent. Requests made before today are unchanged. Closing.
