Description

Hello,

our site managers want to approve access for their own staff instead of sending every request to head office. Right now everything comes to two of us at head office and requests wait when we're out.

Can a site manager be made approver for their own site only? They should not see or approve other sites.

Hi Rachel,

Not today, I'm afraid. Roles apply to the whole organisation. Administrators approve any request at any site under All requests. A site manager can see their own site's requests but can't decide them.

If we made a site manager an administrator, they would approve for all 12 sites and could change your settings, which I don't think you want.

I've passed this to our product team as a feature request: approving per site, for the site's own people.

Rachel has raised this on the last two calls as well. It's the thing their site managers complain about most.

Thanks. Any idea when?

No date, sorry. It's logged with product, and I'll update this ticket if that changes. Closing for now.

Hi Rachel, an update on this one: since Thursday 1 October, the approver's role can be held per site. A site manager with it approves requests from their own site's people, and only those. Administrators still see everything under All requests.

Happy to walk your site managers through it before the Q4 audit.
